EDI Ultrapure Water Equipment

Description:

The EDI membrane stack combines electrodialysis technology with ion exchange technology, uses anion, cation exchange membranes, ion exchange resins, desalination and concentrated water separation chambers and other components to form a working unit, assembles various types of aiming reactors according to the water production, and realizes water purification driven by an external DC electric field, with an effective desalination rate of up to 999, and the water quality is stable after actual operation, and can continuously produce ultrapure water up to 16~18MQ-cm or more.

The removal of ions from water by the EDI membrane stack is carried out by a built-in ion exchange resin

Due to the filling capacity of the ion exchange resin in the EDI membrane stack, the ion exchange resin will gradually saturate after a period of use, so the ion exchange resin must be regenerated before it can be used again.

The EDI membrane stack is composed of several concentrated water chambers and freshwater chamber combination units.

Concentrated water chamber - The area where two freshwater chambers are connected by anion and cation exchange diaphragms to collect concentrated water is called a concentrated water chamber.

Freshwater chamber The area where fresh water is made by filling a mixed resin between the anion and cation exchange diaphragms is called a freshwater chamber.

Electrical plate - An energized conductive plate used to generate an electric field during the operation of the membrane stack, called an electric plate. It is usually divided into positive and negative and is located at both ends of the membrane stack.
